Ode to Mental Health
Congratulations as Sawyer takes second place in the Digitally Enhanced category at the 2017 International Photography Awards held in New York City.
This year’s entry, entitled “Ode to Mental Health”, is a tribute to the many who suffer from mental illness. All too many people suffer in silence without help, lacking the courage to speak up or reach out. Never forget, your friends and family are here for you.
The International Photography Awards™ conducts an annual competition for professional, non-professional, and student photographers on a global scale, creating one of the most ambitious and comprehensive competitions in the photography world today. Since 2003, IPA has had the privilege and opportunity to acknowledge and recognize contemporary photographers’ accomplishments in this specialized and highly visible competition. The IPA is held in conjunction with the Lucie Awards on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
